Sayagata is a pattern of diagonally connected swastikas, and is an auspicious pattern that means "endless longevity (prosperity and longevity of the family)." During the Edo period, it was sometimes used on the fabric of sashimono (flags and decorations) worn by military commanders. It is a typical traditional Japanese pattern.
This is a masterpiece dyed with a rich navy blue and lustrous indigo. Take a look at the stylish navy blue that was once popular. It is a very deep and inconvenient (see below) tenugui that is almost impossible to get anymore.
★Please note: This product is dyed with "real vat dyes". The color will fade quickly at first, and the color will transfer to other items when washed. Therefore, please wash the item separately. Also, when new, the color may transfer to white fabric even if it is in contact with the fabric for a long time. After washing about 10 times, the color will gradually settle. This is a product that you can enjoy aging as if you were raising vintage denim.
