[Tradition] Chrysanthemum Tsunagi ★Indigo dyeing
[Tradition] Chrysanthemum Tsunagi ★Indigo dyeing
This is an auspicious pattern of various kinds of chrysanthemums drawn in a linked pattern. Because the petals of the chrysanthemum are radiating, they are likened to sunlight and are considered to be an auspicious pattern of eternity and prosperity.
This is a masterpiece dyed with a rich navy blue and lustrous indigo. Take a look at the stylish navy blue that was once popular. It is a very deep and difficult (see below) tenugui that is hard to come by anymore.
[★Please note: This product is dyed with "real vat dyes." The color will fade quickly at first, and will transfer to other items when washed. Therefore, please wash the item separately. Also, when new, the color may transfer to white fabric even if it is in contact with the fabric for a long time. After washing about 10 times, the color will gradually settle. We hope you will enjoy the aging process as if you were raising vintage denim.]
