[Spring] Sakura and Mejiro

The Japanese white-eye is a very cute bird smaller than a sparrow, characterized by its round body, long and thin beak, and white rings around its eyes. In English, it is called "white eye". Five small Japanese white-eyes are scattered on this piece, coming to seek nectar from cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms in full bloom are expressed with a gradation dyeing technique unique to Chusen dyeing, making this a very Chusen-like piece.

(In order to bring out the soft texture of the fabric, the finishing press is done lightly. This is why some wrinkles may remain. Thank you for your understanding.)
